about

Life is a mystery and each moment is a gift that we know we shouldn't take for granted...but all too many of our allotted minutes we squander with blinders on, stumbling doggedly toward some misguided goal or another, and missing the point, or at least the scenery, along our way.

I'm a big believer in the idea that we create our own destiny, that our thoughts and actions attract people and opportunities vibrating sympathetically. I try to stay alert for the gift of the moment; I'm eager to see what lies ahead, squinting to discern what hitherto unseen pathway might be making itself known before and beneath my next footfall.

If the melodic theme of this closing number sounds familiar, that's because you've heard it before: wrapped in the grandiose strains of cathedral organ chords at the opening of this, our humble cycle of songs. And so the cycle comes around again, full circle…we are thankful you've shared the ride with us for a little while.

lyrics

Seize the day right away
there will not be another like it.
Feel the power of this hour
soon another sunset will strike it
and it's up to you
to see its promise through—
you take today and make it come true.
